Rob is on-line!

The information superhighway will never be the same! I now have a blogspot. And now the news from Kingman County...

We have recovered from the snow storm last weekend. Karen and I just stayed inside for a couple of days and caught up on our sleep and TV Watching. I planned to spend time in Newton, but all the roads were closed on Saturday. Karen wasn't used to sleeping in on Sunday and staying home! Now that the snow has melted, it is nice to see that Spring decided to come back and stay.

FYI, Jason and I are singing in the Kansas Mennonite Men's Chorus. We have two up-coming concerts: April 19 at Bethany College in Lindsborg, and April 26 at Bethel College in Newton. Hope you can come to one of them! I will post details later.

Karen just had a birthday in March. She is now XX years old ( you will have to ask her yourself).

In other news, I posted my first website last week. I developed a website for our church: www.geocities.com/kingmancc. It's not fancy, but I will be adding to it.

Some of you might want to read details of Karen's and my wedding last August. Briefly, I met Karen Ault on eHarmony.com in Feb. of last year, we got engaged in June, and married in August. She is the Pastor at Kingman Christian Church, has 3 adult children, Sondra (and husband Glen), Jason, and Suzie. She was just to overcome by my wit, brilliance, and good looks to say no when I proposed. Ok, ok, that's stretching it a bit. But, she is a great lady and is just the kind of woman I was praying for. I will post wedding pictures later.

Thought for the day: A bird in the hand will just make a mess!
Better thought for the day: the Spirit of the Lord will not lead you to where the Hand of God cannot keep you.

  1. She's "to overcome by your..brilliance?" That's obviously untrue, because you should have typed "too overcome." You forgot the extra "o"!
