It's Good Friday, but Sunday's coming!

I hope that you will be blessed again by the resurrection story this Easter! Jesus sacrifice on the cross for us is incredible by itself, but the resurrection is absolutely awesome!

Last week, we concluded a 5 week bible study centered around the movie, "The Passion of the Christ". It was really good. Last night we had Maundy Thursday meal, not actually a seder, but a reasonable facsimile, after which a few of us viewed the movie in it's entirety. What an amazing re-enactment of The Passion story! It really brings home to me the suffering that Jesus endured for you and me. What love He has for us!

Several years ago, I heard Rev. S. M. Lockridge give an amazing sermon titled "It's Friday, but Sunday's comin!" I haven't yet been able to find a copy of the entire sermon, but here is a link to excerpts from the sermon, with scenes from "The Passion" movie.
